For online room reservations we use the service OnePageBooking/cBooking of HotelNetSolutions GmbH, Genthiner Straße 8, 10785 Berlin. By clicking on "Book Now" a browser window will open which will redirect you to the website of OnePageBooking/cBooking.

If you want to book a room with us, it is necessary for the conclusion of the contract that you provide your personal data, which we need for the processing of your booking. Mandatory data required for the processing of contracts are marked separately, other information is voluntary. The data is entered in an input mask and transmitted to us and stored. The following data is collected during the booking process: IP address, date and time of booking, room category and number of persons, travel period, any extras (arrangements, restaurant, equipment, etc.), any comments to the hotel (wishes), title, name of the person booking, name of the traveler (if different from the person booking), address, e-mail address, telephone number, any different billing address, country and credit card data. Data will also be passed on to the relevant payment service providers. Data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the purpose of processing the contract or for billing purposes or to collect the fee, or if you have expressly consented to this. In this regard, we only pass on the data required in each case. The data recipients are: the respective delivery/shipping company (disclosure of name and address), collection companies, insofar as the payment must be collected (disclosure of name, address, order details), payment institutions for the purpose of collecting debts, insofar as you have selected direct debit as the payment method, as well as payment service providers - depending on the selection of the payment method.

We therefore use the data to answer your inquiries, to process your booking, if necessary to check creditworthiness or to collect a debt, and for the purpose of technical administration of the websites. The voluntary information is provided for the prevention of misuse and, if necessary, for the investigation of criminal offences.

Due to commercial and tax law requirements, we are obliged to store your address, payment and order data for a period of ten years after the execution of the contract. However, we will restrict processing after 6 years, i.e. your data will only be used to comply with legal obligations. If a continuing obligation exists between us and the user, we store the data for the entire term of the contract and for ten years thereafter (see above). With regard to data provided voluntarily, we will delete the data upon expiration of 6 years after execution of the contract, provided that no further contract is concluded with the user during this period; in this case, the data will be deleted upon expiration of 6 years after execution of the last contract.

If the data is required for the performance of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, early deletion of the data is only possible insofar as contractual or legal obligations do not prevent deletion. Otherwise, you are free to have the personal data provided during registration completely deleted from the data stock of the responsible party. With regard to the voluntary data, you can declare the revocation to the responsible person at any time. In this case, the voluntary data will be deleted immediately.

ANALYSIS AND TRACKING TOOLS

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone or similar) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device, do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.

In the cookie, information is stored that arises in each case in connection with the specific end device used. However, this does not mean that we gain direct knowledge of your identity.

The use of cookies serves on the one hand to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. We use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site.

In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness, which are stored on your end device for a certain fixed period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, it is automatically recognized that you have already been with us and which entries and settings you have made, so that you do not have to enter them again.

On the other hand, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you (see section 5). These cookies enable us to automatically recognize that you have already been to our site when you visit it again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time.

The data processed by cookies is necessary for the aforementioned purposes to protect our legitimate interests as well as those of third parties pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a notice always appears before a new cookie is created. However, the complete deactivation of cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website.

The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. With the tracking measures used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and continuous optimization of our website. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision. The respective data processing purposes and data categories can be found in the corresponding tracking tools.

I. GOOGLE ANALYTICS [NR1]

For the purpose of demand-oriented design and ongoing optimization of our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter "Google"). In this context, pseudonymized usage profiles are created and cookies (see under point 4) are used. Through the cookie generated information about your use of this website such as:

– Browser type/version

– Operating system used

– Referrer URL (the previously visited page)

– Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)

– Time of the server request

are transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to the use of the website and the Internet for the purposes of market research and demand-oriented design of these Internet pages. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on our behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking).

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

Furthermore, Google offers a deactivation option for the most common browsers, which gives you more control over which data is collected and processed by Google. Should you activate this option, no information about the website visit will be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, activation does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analytics services we may use. For more information on the deactivation option provided by Google, as well as how to activate this option, please click on the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on this link. An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again.

II. GOOGLE ADWORDS CONVERSION TRACKING

In order to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our website for you, we also use Google Conversion Tracking. In this process, Google Adwords sets a cookie (see section 4) on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Google ad.

These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Adwords customer's website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each Adwords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across Adwords customers' websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The Adwords customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.

If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this - for example, via a browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the "www.googleadservices.com" domain. Google's privacy policy on conversion tracking can be found here (https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html).

III. MATOMO (FORMERLY PIWIK)

We use the open source software Matomo to analyze and statistically evaluate the use of the website. Cookies are used for this purpose (see section 4). The information generated by the cookie about website usage is transmitted to our servers and summarized in pseudonymous usage profiles. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website and to enable us to design our website in line with requirements. The information is not passed on to third parties.

In no case will the IP address be associated with other data concerning the user. The IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking [NR2]).

Your visit to this website is currently collected by Matomo web analytics. Click here (https://matamo.org/docs/privacy/) to stop your visit from being collected.

IV. USE OF RECAPTCHA

In order to protect input forms on our site, we use the service "reCAPTCHA" of the company Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter "Google". The use of this service makes it possible to distinguish whether the corresponding input is of human origin or misused by automated machine processing.

To our knowledge, the referrer URL, the IP address, the behavior of website visitors, information about the operating system, browser and duration of visit, cookies, display instructions and scripts, the user's input behavior and mouse movements in the area of the "reCAPTCHA" checkbox are transmitted to "Google". Google uses the information thus obtained, among other things, to digitize books and other printed matter and to optimize services such as Google Street View and Google Maps (e.g. house number and street name recognition). The IP address transmitted as part of "reCAPTCHA" is not merged with other data from Google, unless you are logged into your Google account at the time of using the "reCAPTCHA" plug-in. If you want to prevent this transmission and storage of data about you and your behavior on our website by "Google", you must log out of "Google" before you visit our site or use the reCAPTCHA plug-in. The use of the service "reCAPTCHA" obtained information is in accordance with the Google Terms of Use: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

V. VG WORT

We use the so-called "counting pixel" of the WORT collecting society on our site in the form of the SZM ("Scalable Central Measuring Method") of the provider INFOnline GmbH (INFOnline GmbH, Forum Bonn Nord, Brühler Str. 9, 53119 Bonn, Germany) to determine statistical key figures relating to the copy probability of texts.

The data obtained in this process is collected anonymously. The collection of access figures uses either a so-called session cookie or a signature, which is created from various automatically transmitted information from your browser, to recognize visitors to our site. The IP address is only processed in anonymized form. At no time are individual users identified for this purpose. This procedure is intended to determine the copy probability of individual texts.

VI. WORDPRESS.COM STATS

We use the Jetpack component of Automattic Inc., 132 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States of America, on our site using the technology of Quantcast Corp., 201 Third Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States of America. With each individual call to our site, data for web analysis is collected through the use of cookies and stored in the USA. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the visitor's Internet browser to enable the recognition of the visitor's Internet browser. The IP address is anonymized immediately after processing but before it is stored. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

The collection and use of data by the Jetpack component can be objected to with effect for the future if you set an opt-out cookie in your browser via the http://www.quantcast.com/opt-out page. If you should delete all cookies of your browser, the process must be repeated.

VII. MICROSOFT ADVERTISING (FORMERLY BING ADS)

Our website uses the conversion tracking of Microsoft (Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA). In this process, Microsoft Advertising sets a cookie on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Microsoft Advertising ad. In this way, Microsoft Advertising and we can recognize that someone has clicked on an ad, been redirected to our website and reached a previously determined target page (conversion page). We only learn the total number of users who, for example, clicked on a Bing ad and were then redirected to the conversion page. No personal information about the user's identity is disclosed. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this - for example, via a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies.

The legal basis for the use of Microsoft Advertising is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO.

For more information on privacy and cookies used by Microsoft Bing, please visit Microsoft's website: https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement.

SOCIAL MEDIA

I. SOCIAL MEDIA PLUG-INS

We use social plug-ins of the social networks Facebook, Twitter and Instagram on our website on the basis of Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO in order to make our law firm better known. The underlying promotional purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the DSGVO. The responsibility for data protection-compliant operation is to be ensured by their respective providers. The integration of these plug-ins by us takes place by way of the so-called two-click method in order to protect visitors to our website as best as possible.

II.   YOUTUBE-VIDEOS

We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. This tells Youtube which pages you are visiting. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your Youtube account beforehand.

When a Youtube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.

Those who have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program will not have to expect any such cookies when watching Youtube videos. However, Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you would like to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser.

For more information on data protection at "Youtube", please refer to the provider's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

III. FACEBOOK

Social media plugins from Facebook are used on our website to make their use more personal. For this purpose, we use the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button. This is an offer from Facebook.

When you call up a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with Facebook's servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser, which then integrates it into the website.

By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not currently logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can directly assign your visit to our website to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook and displayed to your Facebook friends.

Facebook may use this information for the purposes of advertising, market research and demand-oriented design of the Facebook pages. For this purpose, Facebook creates usage, interest and relationship profiles, e.g. to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements displayed to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website and to provide other services associated with the use of Facebook.

If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website to your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.

For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Facebook's privacy policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/).

IV. TWITTER

Plugins of the short message network of Twitter Inc. (Twitter) are integrated on our Internet pages. You can recognize the Twitter plugins (tweet button) by the Twitter logo on our site. You can find an overview of tweet buttons here (https://about.twitter.com/resources/buttons).

When you visit a page of our website that contains such a plugin, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Twitter server. Twitter thereby receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the Twitter "tweet button" while logged into your Twitter account, you can link the content of our pages on your Twitter profile. This allows Twitter to associate the visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data

or its use by Twitter.

If you do not want Twitter to be able to associate your visit to our pages, please log out of your Twitter user account.

You can find more information on this in Twitter's privacy policy (https://twitter.com/privacy).

V. INSTAGRAM

Our website also uses so-called social plugins ("plugins") from Instagram, which is operated by Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Instagram").

The plugins are marked with an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an "Instagram camera".

When you access a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of Instagram. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Instagram directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged into Instagram.

This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can directly assign your visit to our website to your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Instagram" button, this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and

stored there.

The information is also published on your Instagram account and displayed there to your contacts.

If you do not want Instagram to directly assign the data collected via our website to your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website.

For more information, please see the privacy policy (https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388) of Instagram.

VI.  PINTEREST

Our website contains the "Pin it" button of the social network Pinterest, which is operated by Pinterest, Inc. - located at 808 Brannan St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. Because of the use of the "Pin it" button, Pinterest receives the information that you have visited one of our websites. If you are logged into your Pinterest account during this time, it is also possible for Pinterest to associate your visit with your Pinterest account. By clicking the "Pin it" button, data is transmitted to Pinterest, which is stored on servers (in the USA). If you wanted to prevent this, you would have to log out of your Pinterest account before clicking the "Pin it" button. In order to be able to protect your privacy, please refer to Pinterest's privacy policy for further details on the collection, processing and use of your data by Pinterest as well as your legal options and settings options at: http://pinterest.com/about/privacy/.

VII. XING

We use components of the XING.com network on our site. These components are a service of XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany.

With each individual call-up of our website that is equipped with such a component, this component causes the browser you are using to download a corresponding representation of the component from XING.

To our knowledge, XING does not store any personal data of the user about the call of our website. XING also does not store any IP addresses. In addition, there is also no evaluation of usage behavior via the use of cookies in connection with the "XING Share button".

Further information on this can be found in the privacy policy for the XING Share button at: https://www.xing.com/app/share?op=data_protection

VIII. LINKEDIN

We use components of the LinkedIn network on our site. LinkedIn is a service of LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. With each individual call-up of our website that is equipped with such a component, this component causes the browser you are using to download a corresponding representation of the component from LinkedIn.

This process informs LinkedIn which specific page of our website is currently being visited. If you click the LinkedIn "Recommend Button" while you are logged into your LinkedIn account, you can link the content of our pages on your LinkedIn profile. This enables LinkedIn to assign the visit to our pages to your LinkedIn user account.

We have no influence on the data that LinkedIn collects through this, nor on the scope of this data collected by LinkedIn. We also have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted to LinkedIn. Details on data collection by LinkedIn as well as your rights and setting options can be found in LinkedIn's privacy notices. You can find this information at http://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy

Please note that the confidentiality and data security of instant messaging services is not guaranteed. When you install and use WhatsApp on your smartphone or mobile device, you agree to WhatsApp's terms and conditions, over which we have no control. Likewise, data is stored on servers of WhatsApp Inc. that are not subject to European data protection law. We are not liable for any damage caused by the use of the respective platforms.

By actively contacting us, you agree to the use and storage of your phone number. The phone number will only be used to provide the described/subscribed WhatsApp service. Your data will not be passed on.

The duration of the data storage corresponds to the period of use of the WhatsApp service. You can object to the storage of your number at any time. If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified e-mail address and agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form is based exclusively on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data that has been stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.

This website uses the services of Revinate for sending newsletters. The provider is Revinate Inc, 1 Letterman Dr., Building C, Suite CM100, San Francisco, CA 94129, USA.

Revinate is a service with which, among other things, the sending of newsletters can be organized and analyzed. If you enter data for the purpose of receiving newsletters (e.g. e-mail address), this data is stored on Revinate's servers in the USA.

With the help of Revinate, we can analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent with Revinate, a file contained in the email (so-called web beacon) connects to Revinate's servers in the USA. This makes it possible to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, have been clicked on. In addition, technical information is recorded (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.

If you do not want any analysis by Revinate, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in each newsletter message.

The data processing is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our servers as well as from Revinate's servers after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data that has been stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.

We have concluded an order processing agreement ("Data Processing Addendum") with Revinate. In this agreement, we obligate Revinate to protect our customers' data and not to disclose it to third parties.
